  2. USAGE
  3.      R[ead] <msg_number> [<msg_number> . . .]

  7. DESCRIPTION
  8.      Each of these  commands allows you to read a message (or messages) from
  9.      the current mail area.  To read a specific message, you may either type
  10.      "read #" or just  the number by itself.  If there is a specific list of
  11.      messages  you are interested  in  (determined  by the use of the L[ist]
  12.      command, for  instance),  you can  enter  the list  of  message numbers
  13.      (separated by spaces) on the  "read" command-line.  You can also simply
  14.      advance sequentially  through the messages by just pressing the <ENTER>
  15.      key.  This will display the  next message in order.  The "read" command
  16.      displays only an  abbreviated portion of the mail headers.  If you want
  17.      all the header lines displayed, use the V[erbose] command instead.
